ROOTS is the center of Deaf Camp, connecting MiNi with Teen Deaf Summit.
Deaf Camp ROOTS is for age 6 to 13 years old, designed for Deaf, hard of hearing, oral students, siblings, and hearing children with Deaf parents. ROOTS is an immersive day camp experience that helps students improve their communication skills through learning ASL, problem solving, and team building while having fun all summer long for 7 weeks!
Each day of ROOTS is structured to create an age appropriate, enriching educational adventure. Three days during the week will include problem solving, team building, learning safety, and creating visual stories, and two days will include field trips to fun local place and field or water day where we will be outside with variety of game activities.
ROOTS is a day camp, Monday through Fridays, 8:30am to 5:00pm. This is not an overnight camp
